As professional craft artist, we work from our studio in Norman, Oklahoma, where we design quality handbags, cosmetic bags, jackets, caffe mother and daughter aprons and hand painted furniture.

At Maggy’s Thread Designs we create unique handbags by choosing fibers with distinct pattern, color and texture in a wide variety of fabrics. Selecting complementary handles, beads, feathers and trim all make them special and original. In the construction of each purse, the inside lining is also designed with great care, making it functional with pockets and zipper compartments.

Women have carried handbags since the fifth century, and over time this needed accessory has changed. Now we carry our checkbook, keys, money, credit cards, day timer, cell phone and anything that helps us organize our busy lives. In addition, from all ages, we often choose a handbag that expresses our own personality.

Each hand-crafted item at Maggy’s Thread Designs is always one-of-a-kind, which we have found is greatly appreciated by our customers, many of which have become collectors of Maggy’s handbags.
